"Cracker Jihad"
You may be wondering exactly what the symbols and wording of this shirt is about. Well a bunch of Security Contractors got together while in Iraq and began talking about making a "Union" shirt for all of the guys working hazardous duty in the middle east. It started out as a joke and grew from there....
The 187 as you may know is the police code, in some places, for murder. Throw in some Pulp Fiction theme and you get the "Pipe Hitters" as well as the "Pair of Pliers and a Blowtorch" references.
The "Cracker Jihad" just sounded funny and, in Iraq, if you are an American it doesn't matter what color you are because you are a "Cracker" to the locals. Believe it or not I got that phrase from a pipe hitter friend of mine who works for Microsoft of all places. You just never know where you are going to find a Warrior OR a Cracker.
The word "Merc" is behind the pliers and blowtorch and as you may already know it is short for Mercenary. Are we mercenaries? It actually depends on what book you read. In the end we just think it is funny.
