The EOTech Holosight is an excellent optic, but when you go to replace the battery it is a PITA. Especially when it is mounted on the firearm and mission critical. It doesn't need to be a PITA any longer. The innovative and inexpensive GG&G Quick Action Batt Latch allows the battery compartment to be easily accessed. The ergonomic curve allows for the tip of your finger to easily pull up on the latch and release the tension. Even a gloved hand can now get the latch open. Two models of the GG&G Quick Action Batt Latch are available to accommodate the different models of the 500 series EOTech HOLOSIGHTS. Both versions retrofit in about five minutes, not counting the time you need to get the original stubborn battery latch open. We include a stainless roll pin to replace the original, in case the original is damaged or lost during the retrofit process. The new levers are manufactured from tough 7075 aluminum and hard anodized to mil-spec. Made in America by individuals proud to be Americans.
